As part of the 2021 Leicester Comedy Festival preview show, Demon Media members got the chance to interview Eric Rushton, an up and coming comedian in the Midlands.
As part of my role as Head of Demon Media, the media society at the university, I worked with close partners of DMU, the Leicester Comedy Festival, who provided us the chance to sit down and interview some of the comics performing at their Preview Show ahead of the 2021 Comedy Festival. This gave me the opportunity to utilise my project management skills as I had to make sure the comedians were given ample time to give a good interview while also coaching the interviewer on questions to ask & avoid. It also gave me a chance to showcase the ability to set up a multi-camera shoot with lighting in a relatively limited space.
